Through my personal and professional experiences, I have witnessed many conflict resolution styles. Some have been more effective than others at rendering successful, long-lasting solutions. I am confident that by using a facilitative approach we can work toward better communication and oftentimes create a workable outcome.

I was first introduced to mediation in law school when I took as many alternative dispute resolution classes as I could. I immersed myself for a semester at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law while simultaneously working for a family law mediator. Following law school, I worked in higher education administration at UCLA and the University of Texas at Austin. I have also spent many years mothering my two young boys, resolving disputes on a daily basis [hourly, really], while running a small business. In the last few years, my passion has brought me full circle back to mediation.

I volunteer with the Austin, Central Texas, and Bexar County Dispute Resolution Centers [DRC]. I provide coaching support for the 40-hour Basic Mediation Training and the Advanced Family Mediation Training.

Recipient of the 2023 Bexar County DRC Distinguished Service Award.
